Meet Dr. Worthington

Dr. Catherine Worthington’s passion to improve the lives of others led her to pursue a career in orthodontics. She is committed to understanding the unique needs of the individual she is treating when delivering personalized orthodontic care. She is passionate about developing genuine relationships with her patients, and their families and communities. Dr. Worthington truly believes a healthy and beautiful smile will improve one’s self confidence, physical wellbeing and outlook on life!

Dr. Worthington is a lifelong learner committed to delivering orthodontic treatment rooted in evidence-based medicine. She carefully implements orthodontic technology focused on treatment efficiency and improving overall patient experience. Dr. Worthington routinely attends continuing education seminars, and looks forward to applying new and proven techniques into her patient care.

Dr. Worthington is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, the Maryland State Society of Orthodontists, and the American Dental Association. She is also an active member of local dental society chapters.

Personal Life

Dr. Worthington was raised in Carlisle, Pennsylvania and now resides in Baltimore County with her husband, Arthur. They enjoy hiking and spending time outdoors with their vizsla, Ivy. Dr. Worthington is an avid long-distance runner who qualified for and competed in the 2020 U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials. She has completed eleven marathons including the 2016 and 2019 Boston Marathons. She also enjoys spending time ‘down the shore’ with her family, baking, and exploring local farmers markets and coffee shops.
