With a passion for developing new techniques and using innovative technology, Dr. Anna Muench strives to make her patients’ treatment quicker, more aesthetic, and as comfortable as possible. She is genuinely concerned about the wellbeing of each one of her patients, and is committed to providing patients with individualized care and attention, ensuring a welcoming environment and efficacious results. Dr. Muench has been practicing orthodontics in Annapolis, Maryland for the past several years, and is thrilled to be making the Baltimore Orthodontic Group her new home.

Dr. Muench has been the recipient of numerous honors and awards including the Howard Hughes Medical Research Fellowship Award, the American Association of Orthodontist Award for Exceptional Interest in the Development of the Oro-facial Complex, the Quintessence Award in recognition of Academic Achievement, the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology Dental Student Award, the Mary C. Walls Memorial Book Award for Achievement in Anatomy and Concern for Fellow Students, and the Northeastern Society of Periodontics Certificate of Excellence.
Dr. Muench is married to her husband of 11 years, Theo, who is an aerospace engineer for NASA at Goddard Space Flight Center. They have two wonderful dogs, Chloe and Allee. In her free time. Dr. Muench trains for and competes in triathlons. She is a member of the Mid Maryland Triathlon Club, the Howard County Striders, and Columbia Master’s Swimming club.
